KNOW YOUR GUNDAM SOUNDTRACK

    I don't have much to say about Gundam Age's ep 21 'cos it's one of those filler eps where a new crescendo of momentum builds, so I'll wait for a more epic ep to happen again before I blog about it. While we're at it (and while I get my lazy ass going on painting the Mega-size Age kit), and also cos I'll be away most of next week to Bhutan for an Internet-deprived holiday, here is some random trivia that you probably can't give a flyin' shit about, and you'll never ever need to save your life with, but who care's right? I'm shoving it down your throat anyways LOL.

GUNDAM AGE OP 1: ASU HE by GALILEO GALILEI

    This one grew on me, to be honest. It sounded like some catchy indie-electrico pop stuff that, if you stopped and bothered to listen instead of watching porn on your other browser till Flit came on, you might have grown to like LOL. 'Asu He' means 'tomorrow' (I think). You're welcome fellas, for the translation and inane effort. :P

GUNDAM AGE OP 2: SHARP by NEGOTO

    At least give me a round of applause for this really obscure bit of shit no one who doesn't speak Japanese will find easily, trust me. It was only after much boredom and curiosity that I managed to unearth the band behind Age's second OP, which I actually kinda like. Negoto is a girl band of alternative rock. Correct me if I'm wrong, Japanese friends out there, but I think Negoto in Jap means 'nonsense' or 'sleep talk'. Nice way to name your band LOL. The lead singer's Sachiko Aoyama, but who cares rite? Their MTV has since been taken down so sorry I can't show you what they look like.

    Whatever the case, I like it that Sunrise and Gundam are giving internationally lesser-known Japanese bands, who actually make pretty good music even though I have not the faintest idea what they're singing about if not for subtitles, a shot. Kudos to them.

    Oh, and don't mind the lead pic. That's just a cool 144 Age rendition that I came across and you might have seen making the rounds online, which I will feature more in my next post.

    And now that you're a bit more educated on useless Gundam music info, we can all get back to model kits.
